Notice is hereby given that the Atlantic Highlands Board of Education Reorganization Meeting scheduled on Thursday, January 4, 2024 will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Cafetorium at HENRY HUDSON REGIONAL SCHOOL located at 1 Grand Tour,
Highlands, in the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey

Out of an abundance of caution and to allow for appropriate cleanup and assessment of conditions due to the impending storm, all Henry Hudson Tri-District Schools will have a delayed opening on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. If a closure is needed, we will communicate in the morning. The hours for AHES tomorrow will be 10:00-3:00.

To allow for all staff and students to get home safely, all after-school activities for January 9, 2024, are canceled.

Notice is hereby given that the Henry Hudson Regional PK-12 Transitional Board of Education will hold
its Organization Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in the Cafetorium of Henry Hudson Regional School

Please see the attached letter to the community from the Boards of Education Presidents regarding the formation of the transitional school Board.

The three Boards of Education (AHES, HES, and HHRS) received the communication in the link below at 2:25 pm on Sept. 25 from the Acting Commissioner of the Department of Education.

The Commissioner states "The [July 15, 2022] Petition requests to move forward with a referendum to join a regional school district that does not yet exist" and therefore "Sea Bright’s requested relief is premature. If the referendum passes on September 26, 2023, Sea Bright and the newly formed school district may refile a joint request for form an enlarged regional school district."

The special school election is Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
