Star Spangled Banner
National Anthem Day: September 14! Did you know that our national anthem is 203 years old?!

Pre-School Curriculum First Steps  - Preschool and Kindergarten

1st grade: We are getting ready for our class play, Stone Soup on February 8th. We are also currently singing holiday songs!

2nd grade : We are currently working on recognizing our notes and rests. We have covered eighth, quarter, half and whole notes. We have added and subtracted them and are working to find their spots on the staff.

3rd grade : Students are working hard in order to earn their recorders. They need to be able to read music and know their notes before the recorders can be delivered!

4th grade:
We are currently analyzing music, paying attention to the 5 elements. We are able to now identify them in a song and comment on them.

5th and 6th grade: We are working on our note reading skills so that we can begin a composition! We are playing note value games and putting the notes on the staff. Ask us about our silly sentence for EGBDF.
