Welcome to Atlantic Highlands Elementary School. We are so thrilled to have our entire AHES school family back under one roof for the 2021-2022 school year. With our return to a five day per week, full-day program, it is more important than ever that we work together to keep our school community safe, healthy and ready to learn and grow.

I think I speak on behalf of the staff and students when I say we are all eager to bring back some of the programs we have always cherished and loved at AHES, such as chorus, band, drama, after school clubs, volunteer programs, etc. Although there will be safety measures and protocols guiding these programs, the students are certain to enjoy themselves, as it will bring back some normalcy to their school experience.

Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain a top priority for the administrative team at AHES. For this reason we will be continuously monitoring guidance put forth by the NJ Departmentof Education, the NJ Department of Health, the CDC and the governor and will revise our AHES Safe Reopening plan accordingly. This plan can be viewed on our website at: changes or updates will also be communicated to families via email or SchoolMessenger.

Prior to the opening of school, I encourage you to take some time to read through our Student Handbook, as there is a great deal of important information for families. Thank you for sharing your child(ren) with us. We are looking forward to a remarkable 2021-2022 school year.
